Description

Support internal and external clients in implementing and evolving information security controls. Coordinate local and regional security projects, perform security assessments and audits (document-based and on-site), and assist with compliance, incident response, and partner/vendor evaluations. Proactively monitor cybersecurity trends to continuously improve information security measures.

Responsibilities

• Advise and accompany a limited set of internal and external customers on operating and optimizing IT security processes

• Support compliance with company policies and ensure readiness for internal/external audits, checks, and incident response

• Coordinate local and regional security projects with stakeholders such as Legal, Works Council, and Management

• Evaluate new business partners and IT solutions from a security perspective

• Conduct document-based and on-site audits of business partners and suppliers

• Monitor and manage local IT security operations and infrastructure

• Track cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and best practices to improve information security measures

Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in computer science, IT security, or a related field

• Relevant experience in IT security, auditing, consulting, or systems management (ideally internationally)

• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001, DSGVO/GDPR, common cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, incident response, and forensics

• Knowledge of network, system, server, and cloud security

• Ability to create documentation and handle data using Excel

• Ability to clearly communicate technical risks to non-experts

• Structured, decision-capable, solution-oriented working style, including under stress

• Hands-on, independent, and team-oriented mindset

• Comfortable in multicultural environments

• Occasional travel willingness

• Very good German and English skills
