Description

You will lead and grow a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects to help enterprises design and deploy AI systems into production. You will work with strategic customers at the executive level to drive AI strategy discussions grounded in architectural fluency, and you will produce thought leadership that shapes how the field engages with generative AI and agentic systems. You will also partner with AWS engineering and product teams to translate field feedback into actionable improvements and to create scalable enablement assets.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain a world-class team of Applied AI Architects
• Set the technical vision and strategic direction for Applied AI Architecture globally
• Serve as a technically credible executive sponsor to strategic customers
• Build feedback loops with AWS service and product teams to influence roadmaps
• Drive thought leadership via publications, frameworks, and speaking
• Create scalable programs, tools, and enablement assets for field execution
• Navigate ambiguity to make directional decisions and course-correct
• Represent the voice of the customer internally to inform investment priorities

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment
