Description

Design and build agentic-first software workflows that coordinate tools, services, data, and human approvals. Create reusable orchestration patterns for agent tool use, context management, memory, and multi-agent collaboration, and use agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review, and documentation. Ensure enterprise-grade security, reliability, and auditability as you move prototypes into production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context management, memory, and multi-agent collaboration
• Apply agentic coding tools across the engineering lifecycle (planning through documentation)
• Integrate agents into software development, testing, deployment, support, and operational workflows
• Establish standards for agent evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance
• Prototype agentic capabilities and convert successful experiments into production systems
• Improve productivity and delivery through agentic development
• Mentor engineers and help shape an agentic-first technical strategy
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to deliver meaningful user outcomes
• Design agentic applications with reliable workflows, permissions, audit trails, and error handling
• Drive prototypes to production addressing performance, scalability, security, monitoring, evaluation, cost, and maintenance

Requirements

• 5+ years of software product development environment experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Strong proficiency with relational databases
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, tool-using LLM applications, or orchestrated workflows
• Experience with multi-agent systems and at least one: RAG, vector search, agent evaluation, or human-in-the-loop
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding agents as productive engineering collaborators across an application codebase
• Ability to provide agents with clear context, constraints, architecture, acceptance criteria, and technical direction
• Strong judgment to review, test, secure, and improve agent-generated code
• Ability to decompose complex application work into agent-ready tasks while maintaining architectural consistency
• Experience creating workflows where agents reason, select tools, call APIs, manage state, recover from failures, and escalate to people appropriately
• Senior-level experience building and operating production software systems
• Experience using agents for coding, code review, testing, release management, or incident response
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Python
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with AWS infrastructure
• Experience with APIs, workflow engines, event-driven architectures, integrations, or distributed systems
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, security, permissions, and failure recovery
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical, reliable technical solutions
• Product mindset and ability to make tradeoffs to deliver complete solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence engineering practices
• Upper-intermediate English level
