Description

You will design, build, and support backend services for trading, risk, and capital-markets workflows. The work spans real-time, event-driven systems such as market data, positions/exposures, pricing services, risk engines, and post-trade or regulatory technology. You’ll deliver high-throughput data processing with integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems where correctness, resilience, and auditability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services supporting trading, risk, and capital-markets workflows

• Build real-time and event-driven systems for market data, positions/exposures, and pricing

• Create high-throughput data processing and integration pipelines

• Implement APIs and integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems

• Participate in technical design and architecture decisions with senior engineers and domain stakeholders

• Provide production support and continuous improvement for business-critical platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong backend engineering skills in Java, Kotlin, Python and/or C++

• Experience with distributed, event-driven, and/or high-volume systems

• Solid understanding of production reliability and failure handling

• Strong SQL and data-handling skills

• Good English

• Commercial experience in investment banking, capital markets, asset management, hedge funds, or financial risk technology
