Description

You’ll join an international engineering team building highly scalable, highly available cloud applications for millions of logistics and e-commerce users. You’ll help develop a new fintech initiative from early stages while solving real-world problems at scale. The work emphasizes backend engineering, event-driven systems, and asynchronous communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services for large-scale, cloud-based applications

• Develop scalable and highly available systems for real-world use cases

• Collaborate with an international engineering team in an agile environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a Backend Engineer

• Strong experience with Python and Node.js

• Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems

• Hands-on experience with Kafka

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous communication

• Experience with React and/or Next.js

• English communication skills (min. B2)

• Understanding of authorization flows, ledger and settlement processes

• Experience with agile development methodologies
