Description

You will take end-to-end ownership of backend design and implementation through production for systems where security, performance, and scalability matter. The platform enables secure one-tap access using biometrics, document verification, and data processing, with security as a core priority. This is a hands-on role emphasizing engineering fundamentals, quality, and how systems behave in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems for a passwordless authentication platform
• Deliver features from design through production with a high bar for quality
• Build secure, scalable services for performance-critical production environments

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of commercial experience as a backend or fullstack engineer (backend-focused)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid experience with Node.js (NestJS)
• Strong understanding of secure backend design principles (authentication, authorization, data protection, API security)
• Experience working with GCP or other cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and web communication patterns
• Experience with backend testing frameworks and testing strategies
• Experience using AI tools effectively and responsibly in day-to-day development
• Very good command of English and Polish
