Description

You will actively seek and approach new industrial manufacturing customers, identify real business opportunities, and move them through a longer sales cycle. You’ll work with customer stakeholders across production, maintenance, automation, and management to uncover problems, investment plans, and upcoming projects. You own the commercial relationship, while technical specialists prepare the technical solution, calculations, and offers.

Responsibilities

• Actively find and contact new customers

• Engage with production, maintenance, automation, and management stakeholders

• Discover pain points, investment plans, and planned projects

• Recognize genuine opportunities and progress them systematically

• Maintain customer relationships through multi-month sales cycles

• Close deals and look for additional collaboration opportunities

Requirements

• Experience in B2B sales to manufacturing companies (automation, mechanical engineering, industrial technologies, components, or technical services preferred)

• Ability to prospect proactively and reach decision-makers

• Strong discovery skills (ask the right questions)

• Experience managing a sales process that can last several months

• Ability to build real projects from scratch after initial contact

• Technical education is an advantage, not required
