Description

You will own the cloud infrastructure topic and design and implement Azure environments for customers—from architecture sketches to ongoing operations. You will run workshops to identify customer needs, migrate workloads to Azure, integrate with on-prem systems, and resolve complex technical issues at the 3rd level. You will also automate and standardize processes and help build technical redundancy in your team through knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Build and take technical ownership of the cloud topic (from the beginning or after onboarding)

• Design and implement Azure environments for customers end-to-end, from architecture to operations

• Lead workshops, determine real customer requirements, and create viable solution concepts

• Migrate existing workloads to Azure and integrate them with systems that remain on-premises

• Own technical aspects of projects and contribute to future cloud architectures

• Resolve complex cases at 3rd-level and prevent recurring issues

• Automate and standardize processes

• Share knowledge and develop technical redundancy with your team

Requirements

• IT education or degree or comparable qualification

• Practical experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, networking, storage, backup)

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including hybrid environments

• Knowledge of Windows Server in productive operation

• Ability to moderate workshops and develop technical solution concepts

• Ideally experience with Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform)

• Understanding of cloud governance and cloud cost control; willingness to take technical responsibility

• Very good German and English skills

• At least 5 years of professional experience

• Residence in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland

• Very good German skills at native level
