Description

Responsible for the stable and secure operation of on-premises and cloud networks on Azure and GCP, and for advancing modern network, firewall, and cloud architectures. You will focus on Cloud networking security (VNETs/VPCs, routing, security), firewall and network security, and integration of VMware NSX and Kubernetes networking. The role includes 3rd-level support, documentation, and contributions to audits, reporting, and compliance for requirements such as DORA and BSI Grundschutz.

Responsibilities

• Operate and ensure secure, reliable on-premises and cloud networks (Azure, GCP)
• Support strategic evolution of network, firewall, and cloud architectures (Palo Alto, Azure Firewall, GCP Firewall, NSX)
• Work on Cloud networking in Azure and GCP (VNETs/VPCs, routing, security)
• Integrate VMware NSX and Kubernetes networking
• Provide 3rd-level support and document network and security solutions
• Support audits, reporting, and compliance activities

Requirements

• Completed IT degree or completed IT apprenticeship
• Relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of cloud networking in Azure and GCP
• Solid experience with firewall technologies, especially Palo Alto
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, BSI Grundschutz)
• Structured and analytical working style
• Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
