Description

Build and lead solutions for AI-powered cloud operations by developing scalable ML infrastructure and operational automation. Partner across product groups to improve distributed systems design, reliability, security, and customer impact through continuous architecture and operational enhancements. Provide technical leadership across test maturity, static analysis, reviews, on-call, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Partner across multiple product groups to apply distributed systems design practices and understand interactions between cloud layers and components
• Lead by example and mentor others to produce extensible, maintainable code used across products
• Develop and evangelize insights, best practices, and standards to improve system and operational development
• Drive continuous improvements to architecture, code, features, operations, and end-to-end scenarios
• Improve product fundamentals and architecture; share knowledge and code for reuse across teams and products
• Demonstrate end-to-end expertise in distributed systems design and cloud layer interactions
• Provide technical leadership for test maturity reviews, static analysis reviews, meetings, on-call rotations, and incident responses
• Use deep business and technical expertise to resolve major incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding (including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python)
• Ability to meet security screening requirements (including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years)
