Description

Designs and leads solution architecture and development for complex internal and external automations within ServiceNow platform operations. Coordinates solution design internally and with customers, shapes complex system architectures, and supports delivery and integration review across OS environments. Coaches architects and creates implementation and operating concepts for infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

  • Solution design and development for complex internal and external automations and issues across the ServiceNow platform operating context (all ISO layers)
  • Coordinate solution design internally and with customers
  • Lead and drive solution development
  • Estimate effort for complex solutions
  • Design complex system architectures and OS IT landscape architecture
  • Develop and evolve the technology roadmap and take responsibility for its implementation
  • Create implementation and operations concepts for infrastructure components
  • Provide technical support to Service Delivery Management for existing customers
  • Review integration of customer architectures into OS landscapes
  • Coach architects

Requirements

  • Master’s/diploma degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 7 years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years in IT solution design/architecture and at least 3 years with ServiceNow
  • Very good project management knowledge and relevant methods
  • Customer- and business-oriented thinking up to management level
  • Analytical, structured, and systematic working style
  • Social competence with experience coaching and knowledge transfer
  • Broad technical understanding and solid knowledge of IT system architecture
  • Strong business knowledge, especially cost and investment accounting
  • Good knowledge of networks, storage, VMware, operating systems, web servers, databases, containerization, and ServiceNow
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Perl, and Shell; confident with MS Office
  • High cooperation, teamwork, conflict capability, and resilience
  • Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
