Description

Support security and IT security responsibilities for national and international security topics. Contribute to the operation of IT security systems such as access control and visitor management, and help develop and implement policies, standards, and compliance requirements. Perform risk and gap analyses and support internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Support security and IT security managers on national and international security topics

• Assist in operating IT security systems (e.g., access control and visitor management)

• Develop and maintain guidelines and standards for national and international IT procedures

• Support implementation of legal and regulatory requirements and technical/organizational security concepts

• Conduct risk and gap analyses and derive actionable recommendations

• Participate in internal and external audits and provide relevant information

• Work closely with adjacent security functions, IT, authorities, internal partners, and customers

Requirements

• Completed IT-related education (apprenticeship or degree) or comparable qualification

• Basic knowledge of networks and operating systems

• Basic knowledge of MSSQL, Docker, and application operations

• Basic understanding of Enterprise Service Management

• Advantage: first professional experience in a government-regulated environment or in information security management; initial knowledge of IT project management

• Desirable: experience with information security standards such as ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz, or NIS2

• Independent, reliable, and cooperative working style; persuasiveness and team orientation

• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken), flexibility, and moderate willingness to travel
