Description

You will administer and continuously improve assigned security platforms, especially for endpoints, email, password management, and Microsoft 365. You will coordinate and prioritize security incidents with a managed detection and response provider and support technical security assessments for new tools, systems, cloud services, and AI-related solutions. You will also contribute to building and operating an information security management system (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, including security policies, risk assessments, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop security platforms for endpoints, email, password management, and Microsoft 365
• Serve as internal point of contact for the platforms and continuously optimize their use to match company requirements
• Coordinate, assess, and prioritize security incidents with an external managed detection and response provider; monitor implementation of agreed measures
• Plan and execute vulnerability scans and analyses; track vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with responsible contacts
• Perform technical security checks for new tools, systems, cloud services, and AI solutions; create technical evaluations and recommendations
• Contribute to setting up and operating an ISMS under ISO/IEC 27001, security policies, risk assessments, audits, and cross-functional projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, IT security, or similar field, or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security, information security, or a comparable position
• Proven experience operating and administering enterprise security environments and security platforms for endpoints, email, and password management; good knowledge of Microsoft 365 security
• Knowledge of vulnerability management
• Knowledge of network security including firewall, proxy, and VPN solutions
• Strong motivation for IT security and self-driven approach; ideally practical certifications such as BTL1, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent
• Fluent German and English
• Experience in project management
• Experience with data-, cloud-, or AI security
