Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW and SAP HANA solutions for manufacturing, engineering, and business analytics and operational reporting. Create scalable data architectures, ETL pipelines, and HANA native models (calculation, CDS, procedures) while ensuring data quality and troubleshooting discrepancies. Partner with cross-functional teams in Agile (SAFe) to deliver tailored reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SAP BW solutions: InfoObjects, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, and Queries

• Build SAP HANA native models: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript

• Design scalable data architectures and workflows for analytics and operational reporting

• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP sources

• Enable interactive dashboards and real-time reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and tools such as Spotfire

• Monitor data flows, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure high data quality

• Optimize performance and scalability for large datasets and complex workflows

• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver solutions

• Work in Agile (SAFe) environments: participate in sprints, planning, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA development

• SAP BW development experience with InfoObjects, DataSources, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, and Queries

• SAP HANA native modeling experience with Calculation Views, Procedures, CDS Views, and SQLScript

• ETL and data pipeline design experience in SAP BW or HANA

• Integration experience for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and third-party tools

• Database optimization and performance tuning

• Familiarity with Web IDE for SAP HANA and SAP BW/4HANA environments

• Experience with Agile collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Solid ABAP knowledge for BW activities (extractors development, code optimizations)

• Ability to optimize large-scale datasets and workflows

• Strong collaboration skills in Agile environments

• Manufacturing/engineering domain experience is a plus
