Description

Design, develop, configure, and continuously improve solutions on SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Build Apps, and SAP Build Process Automation. Combine low-code/no-code delivery with strong pro-code skills using SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP (Node.js/JavaScript), ABAP, and CDS/OData. Collaborate with IT and business to migrate legacy portals and modernize processes on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Migrate to SAP Build Work Zone: content analysis, redesign/UX optimization, workspace and page configuration.
• Design digital experiences with business users and functional teams; define extension scenarios in SAP Build and S/4HANA.
• Develop SAP Build Apps: UI screens, data models, logical flows, and integrations with SAP backend systems.
• Configure and adapt SAP Build Work Zone for smooth user and team usage.
• Build pro-code extensions using SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP on Node.js/JavaScript, and ABAP where backend extensions are required.
• Design and use OData services, including CDS views and OData provisioning (Gateway/CDS).
• Integrate SAP Build with S/4HANA, other SAP cloud solutions, and external systems via Destinations, XSUAA, API Management, and Integration Suite.
• Assure quality and performance: unit/integration tests, UAT support, ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Document designs/configurations/processes and work in a matrix organization with product owners, analysts, SAP consultants, and project managers.
• Participate in project estimates, timeline planning, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical SAP BTP development experience with CAP using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Build Apps, and SAP Build Process Automation.
• Experience developing and integrating SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• ABAP development experience for backend extensions (e.g., BAdIs, user exits), plus troubleshooting experience.
• Strong skills in SAP data and APIs: CDS views, OData annotations, exposing OData via SAP Gateway or CDS provisioning.
• Integration experience using BTP connectivity, including OData/REST connections to SAP backend systems.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with business stakeholders and translate requirements into user-friendly solutions.
• Comfort working in Agile and collaborating across different roles and stakeholders.
