Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW and SAP HANA data models, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions. Create SAP BW objects (InfoObjects, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, Queries) and SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript). Integrate SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP sources, ensure data quality, and optimize performance for large-scale analytics and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SAP BW solutions (InfoObjects, DataSources, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, Queries)

• Build SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, stored procedures, SQLScript)

• Design scalable data architectures and workflows for analytics and operational reporting

• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems

• Enable interactive dashboards and real-time reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and tools like Spotfire

• Monitor data flows, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high data quality

• Optimize processing performance and scalability for large datasets and complex workflows

• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions

• Work in Agile (SAFe) teams (sprints, planning, retrospectives)

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW and HANA development

• SAP BW development knowledge: InfoObjects, DataSources, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, Queries

• SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, Procedures, CDS Views, SQLScript

• ETL/data pipeline design in SAP environments (BW or HANA)

• Integration experience across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and third-party tools

• Database optimization and performance tuning skills

• Familiarity with Web IDE for SAP HANA and SAP BW/4HANA environments

• Agile collaboration experience (Jira, Confluence, or ADO)

• Solid ABAP knowledge for BW activities (extractors development, code optimizations)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven ability to optimize large-scale datasets and workflows

• Strong collaboration skills in Agile environments

• Manufacturing or engineering domain experience is a plus
