Description

You will lead an interdisciplinary creative team across print design, UX/UI and digital media. You own the planning and coordination of content projects for channels such as the website, newsletter, WhatsApp/SMS, social media and print, while ensuring high visual and UX quality. You create designs with Figma and develop UX concepts (user flows, prototypes, web layouts), including accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Disciplinary and functional leadership of an interdisciplinary team (up to seven)
  • Plan and coordinate new content projects (e.g., SVB Campus) with Marketing and other departments for website, newsletter, WhatsApp/SMS, social media, print and additional channels
  • Create your own designs with Figma; support the team with copy, image selection and other creative tasks
  • Advise the team on design and aesthetics
  • Prioritize, organize and document projects/tasks; coordinate regularly with stakeholders to ensure quick and precise delivery
  • Own day-to-day operations, including regular newsletter creation and support for a five-language newsletter
  • Responsible for the visual design and further development of the online shop, website, newsletters, campaigns and digital products
  • Design quality assurance, plus technical review and release of deliverables
  • Develop UX concepts, user flows, prototypes and web layouts considering usability and digital accessibility
  • Implement and adapt front-end content using HTML, CSS and Twig
  • Operate with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Codex and Adobe Firefly to support conception, design and production

Requirements

  • Completed training in Digital Media Design or a degree in Media Informatics, Media Design or Communication Design (ideally with relevant professional experience)
  • Professional handling of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and responsive design on multiple devices
  • Ability to translate market and marketing requirements into creative deliverables
  • Ideally experience with agile working methods and/or online marketing or online shops
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and an independent working style with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Creativity and ability to generate diverse ideas for visual execution
  • Very good German (written and spoken) and good English skills
