Description

Lead qualitative and quantitative research to shape agent and agent-assisted experience strategy across AWS. Partner with engineering and science teams to build agent tooling, research instrumentation, prototypes, and EXA data products that inform Experience Health metrics, segmentation, and AI-first product strategy. Help define where humans remain in the loop while advancing new research approaches at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research for agentic and agent-assisted experiences
• Partner with engineering to build agent tooling and research instrumentation
• Develop thought leadership on AI-augmented and agent-primary experiences
• Lead EXA data product delivery with cross-functional teams
• Build prototypes using agentic tools to communicate research insights
• Propose new research approaches, maintain a research knowledge base, and identify emerging behaviors
• Mentor junior researchers

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
• 5+ years of supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• PhD in HCI, Behavioral Science, or related field
• Experience conducting B2B research
• Fluency in triangulating customer insights with telemetry data
