Description

Lead a multi-year strategy for authoring Agents & Skills so information workers, makers, developers, partners, and administrators can create trusted, production-grade solutions. Synthesize research, telemetry, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to translate ambiguous needs into durable product and platform direction, then align executives, engineering, design, marketing, and partners around measurable outcomes. Use AI quality measures, experimentation loops, and scorecard metrics to drive adoption, engagement, retention, reliability, and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evangelize long-term vision, investment framework, and roadmap for agent and skill authoring across divisional boundaries.

  • Prioritize opportunities using customer research, telemetry, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and AI-assisted insights.

  • Create a unified progression from lightweight creation to trusted, governed, enterprise-scale deployment.

  • Drive shared lifecycle capabilities across Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, and partner surfaces.

  • Partner across Microsoft to define platform contracts, integration patterns, ownership boundaries, dependencies, release criteria, and shared success measures.

  • Make difficult product and architecture decisions balancing customer value, feasibility, quality, security, privacy, responsible AI, compliance, reliability, cost, and time to market.

  • Define OKRs, AI quality measures, and experimentation/learning loops; use evidence to improve outcomes and deprecate capabilities when warranted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent).

  • 4+ years taking a product/feature/experience to market (including product-market fit and launch).

  • 6+ years improving product metrics for a product/feature/experience in a market.

  • 6+ years disrupting a market for a product/feature/experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive base pay range (U.S.): USD $142,800–$274,800 per year (different ranges apply for specific locations such as the San Francisco Bay area and NYC metro).
