Description

Lead the vision and strategy for agentic engineering across the end-to-end software development lifecycle for Microsoft 365 Copilot and BizChat. Define product strategy and roadmap to move from AI-assisted development to increasingly agent-native engineering workflows, partnering with engineering and product leaders to deliver scalable platforms, workflows, and practices. Establish measurable success metrics and drive adoption of new agentic engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, reliability, cycle time, and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategy for Agentic Engineering across the end-to-end software development lifecycle.

• Identify high-value opportunities for AI agents to improve how engineers design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and operate software.

• Develop a product strategy and roadmap for evolving from AI-assisted development to agent-native workflows.

• Partner with engineering teams to create reusable agentic capabilities, platforms, and patterns that scale across large organizations.

• Establish success metrics for engineering productivity, quality, reliability, cycle time, and developer experience.

• Drive adoption of new agentic engineering practices and help teams evolve how software is built and operated.

• Bring together related investments across teams into a cohesive strategy.

• Influence senior product and engineering leaders and align across organizational boundaries.

• Stay current on AI agent and software engineering advances and translate them into engineering transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development; or equivalent experience.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements (including Microsoft Cloud background check on hire/transfer and every two years).
