Description

Lead the engineering execution for next-generation AI agents, including LLM orchestration, multi-agent coordination, RAG-based systems, and evaluation frameworks. Own the end-to-end lifecycle from spec through deployment, ensuring production-quality C# and Python with TDD, CI/CD, staged rollouts, and full observability. Drive production health, reliability, responsible AI, and measurable business impact through KPIs and data-driven OKRs.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an AI engineering pod; hire, coach, and develop Applied AI Engineers

• Own end-to-end production lifecycle of agentic AI services (spec to deployment)

• Set technical direction and engineering standards (architecture patterns, code quality, eval frameworks, deployment practices, observability)

• Ensure production health and reliability; incident response, root cause analysis, continuous improvement

• Build and maintain evaluation systems (rubrics, golden datasets, judge agents) with eval gates

• Partner with product and platform teams to influence agentic AI platform roadmaps

• Drive measurable business impact via KPIs (case volume reduction, automation accuracy, resolution time, customer satisfaction)

• Ensure responsible AI and compliance (PII protection, action boundaries, audit trails) with AI Governance

• Mentor engineers and develop applied AI engineering talent and career growth paths

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree AND 6+ years experience in low-code application development, engineering product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development (or equivalent)

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and C# for production AI/ML systems

• Experience with LLM-based systems (prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and/or agent frameworks)

• Experience with Azure and cloud-native service development (microservices, containers, CI/CD)

• 3+ years people management and/or informal/indirect leadership experience

• 4+ years experience using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Dataverse, Power Applications)

• 3+ years experience managing and configuring AI solutions (e.g., chatbots)

• 4+ years experience with programming/coding
