Description

You will lead the engineering development team for special aviation electronics and other highly reliable electronic systems used in critical applications across aviation and industry. The job covers the full development lifecycle—from analyzing customer requirements and defining system architecture through electrical design, software, prototyping, testing, certification, and readiness for series production—while ensuring alignment with relevant standards and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development activities and monitor the process for handling engineering/design documentation in line with industry standards and contractual requirements

• Participate in bid and commercial processes, including customer-facing discussions

• Define a technology, personnel, and process development plan for the engineering/design organization

• Set up and ensure development processes for aircraft components and assemblies to meet regulatory requirements and improve efficiency

• Ensure sufficient staffing and expert capacity for the engineering organization

• Support professional growth of direct reports and perform regular performance reviews

• Contribute to public company/division presentations

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Mechatronics, Automation or similar)

• Active English knowledge

• General knowledge of regulations L 8 and Part 21

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing highly reliable electronic systems (e.g., aviation engines, actuators, onboard systems)

• Experience managing development teams and projects
