Description

You will help design the electronics for a hybrid aircraft, learn from experienced engineers, and grow into a hardware developer. Responsibilities include creating schematics and PCB designs under guidance, debugging and testing prototypes, and performing laboratory measurements. You will collaborate with mechanics, firmware developers, and the test team from prototype work through to flight testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing electronics for a hybrid aircraft

• Create simpler schematics and PCB designs under guidance

• Bring prototypes to life and troubleshoot faults

• Perform laboratory measurements

• Support electronics testing

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and the test team

• Learn power electronics design and designing for harsh operating environments

• Contribute to product development from first prototypes to flight tests

Requirements

• Fundamentals of analog and digital electronics

• Ability to read schematics

• Ability to read datasheets

• Ability to work with an oscilloscope, multimeter, and lab power supply

• Experience designing your own projects and/or PCB

• Fundamentals of microcontrollers (STM32, AVR, ESP32 or similar)

• Fundamentals of C/C++ or embedded programming

• Willingness to learn new technologies and solve technical problems
