Description

You will design, develop, and maintain features for an Automated Security Retest Engine platform, building Python-based processing pipelines and Java Spring Boot application components. The role focuses on integrating with external tools and REST APIs, improving the reliability and quality of automated security tests, and writing automated tests to ensure stability. You’ll also troubleshoot defects, apply secure development practices, and collaborate with security and product stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain platform features

• Build and enhance Python processing pipelines and Java Spring Boot components

• Develop and maintain integrations with external tools, services, and REST APIs

• Improve reliability, accuracy, and quality of automated security tests and analysis

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and stability

• Investigate technical issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement effective solutions

• Apply secure software development practices, including input validation, access control, credential protection, and secure data handling

• Ensure compliance with defined security testing scopes and maintain evidence for remediation verification

• Collaborate with security and product stakeholders to translate technical and business requirements into maintainable solutions

• Participate in code reviews, continuous improvements, and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python and/or Java

• Hands-on backend development and REST API development

• Spring Boot and standard Java practices or modular application design and dependency management for Python

• Practical experience writing and maintaining automated tests

• Strong secure software development principles: input validation, authentication, authorization, and secure handling of sensitive data

• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with collaborative development including code reviews

• Ability to analyze codebases, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver maintainable, well-documented solutions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with technical stakeholders

• Excellent English for technical communication and documentation
