Description

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts for both back-end and front-end systems, supported by manual testing and comprehensive test coverage. You will create and maintain test plans and strategies, define quality metrics, and optimize automation workflows and frameworks. You will also conduct performance testing and back-end API testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, REST Assured) and mentor the testing team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for back-end and front-end systems

• Perform manual testing to validate critical functionalities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements

• Define quality metrics and optimize workflows using best practices

• Conduct performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

• Conduct back-end testing (e.g., REST Assured)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test strategies and communication

• Optimize automation frameworks and adopt testing tools and technologies

• Mentor and upskill the testing team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer or Quality Engineer

• Strong expertise in Java, performance testing tools, web/API/database testing, and manual testing

• Experience creating and maintaining test plans and strategies

• Leadership skills to mentor teams and drive quality initiatives

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (Git)

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Communicative English
