Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications that integrate machine learning, NLP, and Large Language Models. You’ll build reliable and secure backend services in an agile team, applying best practices for testing, validation, observability, and operational support. You will also help translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions and guide AI integration architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise software using Java and related technologies

• Build scalable backend services and help evolve core application frameworks

• Integrate machine learning models, Large Language Models, and AI services into enterprise applications

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, architects, and engineers to turn business requirements into technical solutions

• Contribute to architecture decisions for AI integration, data flows, validation, security, observability, and operational support

• Apply best practices for AI-enabled functionality (automated testing, output validation, performance monitoring, auditability, human oversight)

• Provide technical guidance in design discussions and code reviews

• Troubleshoot complex issues in mission-critical client environments

• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle for enterprise Java applications

• Strong knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, relational databases, and distributed systems (e.g., Kafka)

• Good understanding of ML and NLP fundamentals: classification, model evaluation, tokenization, embeddings, semantic similarity, information extraction

• Good understanding of LLM and Transformer fundamentals: prompting, context handling, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, model limitations, integration into backend applications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross-team collaboration
