Description

You will design and build the core test automation framework that supports a gaming application portfolio. The work includes architecting the automation engine, providing public/plugin APIs, and implementing backend services and orchestration for reliable test execution. The framework will be extended with AI agents and used by Automation QA engineers to test games.

Responsibilities

• Core Framework Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain the core Java automation engine and public/plugin APIs

• Backend & Infrastructure Orchestration: Build resilient Spring Boot microservices for test execution, including job scheduling and safe resource allocation pools

• Build & CI/CD Tooling: Maintain multi-module Gradle builds, internal artifact publishing, and automated deployment pipelines

• Cross-Team Enablement: Provide stable APIs and extension points for AI Agent Developers and Automation QA Engineers

Requirements

• Solid Java expertise, including modern language features (records, sealed types, pattern matching, virtual threads)

• Ability to design public APIs and plugin SPIs, with knowledge of binary compatibility and deprecation practices

• Strong understanding of multithreading, timeouts, cancellation, and interruption

• Spring Boot microservices knowledge; background job scheduling; retry and idempotency strategies; safe allocation of limited shared resources

• Strong understanding of multi-module Gradle (version catalogs, BOMs, toolchains)

• Experience publishing to an internal artifact repository such as Artifactory

• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Proficiency with Git/Gitflow

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
