Description

Senior Java Developer role focused on architecting, designing, and delivering high-performance Java-based solutions that support the platform’s stability, scalability, and efficiency. You will design core components, lead non-functional/performance improvements, evaluate new technologies, and work with engineering teams and AI tools to perform root-cause analysis and strengthen testing. You will also support backend engineering efficiency initiatives in an agile environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience, preferably in a product company

• Fluent in Java, Spring, JDBC, SQL, Mockito, and JUnit/TestNG

• Good knowledge of SQL databases (preferably columnar database) and basic knowledge of NoSQL solutions

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agents; responsible judgment to improve productivity without compromising security, reliability, or maintainability

• Experience with RESTful web services

• Exposure to AWS or OCI and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Redis, ActiveMQ Artemis (JMS), and Docker

• Self-starter who collaborates well in a fast-paced agile environment

• Fluency in English and Polish
