Description

Drive a seamless transformation by leading the end-to-end migration lifecycle from discovery and planning through testing, cutover, and legacy decommissioning. Own the integrated transition roadmap across application, infrastructure, and security teams, while managing dependencies, risks, and decisions to minimize disruption to critical business services. Ensure testing coverage (functional, performance, resilience) and coordinate operational handover, documentation, and incident procedures, with clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end VMware vSphere to OpenShift migration lifecycle

• Develop and maintain the integrated transition roadmap across teams

• Manage dependencies, risks, and project decisions

• Oversee functional, performance, and resilience testing

• Coordinate operational handover (support models, documentation, incident procedures)

• Communicate progress and challenges via status reports and steering-committee presentations

• Ensure stability, resilience, and security of migrated systems

• Support change-management activities with technical and business stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience directing complex technology transformation and migration projects

• Proven expertise migrating workloads from VMware vSphere to Red Hat OpenShift

• Strong understanding of virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and container platforms (OpenShift)

• Experience developing transition plans, dependency management, and risk mitigation

• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow)

• Excellent English communication skills (fluent)

• Eligibility to work in the European Union
