Description

You will manage and evolve the company’s IT network and server infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of internal systems and applications. You will also support operations automation, application deployments, and DevOps practices, while collaborating with developers and vendors to improve security and service availability. The role covers a broad stack from networking, servers, and virtualization to cloud-oriented services and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and develop corporate network and server infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and related services
  • Manage virtualization and software-defined storage platforms (VMware, Proxmox, vSAN, Ceph, or similar) and administer Windows and Linux servers
  • Ensure operations: monitoring, backups, and ongoing improvements for internal systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Participate in automating operations, application deployment, and advancing DevOps practices
  • Work with developers and vendors on releases, production issue resolution, and improvements in security and availability
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve/structure operational documentation
  • Manage user accounts, access, and standard corporate IT services; coordinate user support and access requests

Requirements

  • Experience administering networks, servers, and common infrastructure services
  • At least 2 years of experience operating server applications/services, including deployment, monitoring, and automation
  • Experience with monitoring, backups, incident resolution, and access administration
  • Ability to propose or improve CI/CD-style processes for building, testing, and deploying applications
  • Familiarity with cloud services, especially PaaS
  • Experience with virtualization platform administration (VMware, Proxmox, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration and orientation in server hardware
  • Ability to communicate with the development team, identify root causes across infrastructure and applications, and drive solutions to completion
  • Orientation in UML and ability to read application source code in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Python, or PowerShell
  • Interest in IT security
  • Experience with security controls such as firewalls, VPN, and network access management
  • Experience with scripting and automation of operational tasks
  • Ability to work across diverse IT environments and quickly learn new technologies
  • Advantage: IT education
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity, and endpoint device administration
