Description

You will take full responsibility for the planning and execution of above-ground and underground civil engineering work for substation projects and maintenance activities. The role includes project team collaboration and ownership of reporting, budget planning, quality, and timelines, as well as preparation and coordination of bill of quantities and participation in procurement negotiations. You will coordinate construction management and supervise site work (earth, concrete, steel), while implementing and monitoring HSE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage above-ground and underground construction projects for substations and maintenance measures

• Own project reporting, budget planning, quality and schedule management

• Create and coordinate bill of quantities; participate in tender negotiations

• Coordinate construction management and oversee site execution of earthworks, concrete, and steel works

• Implement and monitor HSE guidelines

• Manage and steer engineering offices, experts, contractors, and external planners

• Support approval processes across different legal areas

Requirements

• Completed degree in civil engineering or comparable qualification

• Ideally, professional experience as a project manager in above-ground and underground civil engineering for substations

• Good MS Office knowledge

• Good knowledge of AVA and SAP

• Strong German written and verbal communication

• High independence, initiative, customer/contact and teamwork skills, and assertiveness

• Willingness to travel 1–2 days per week

• Class B driver’s license
