Description

You will support and reconfigure client network infrastructure, with an emphasis on network security through best practices and standardized policies. The role includes incident handling, participation in SOC-related support work, network-side security audits, and maintaining technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects to change or rebuild customer infrastructure
• Handle tickets and implement configuration changes on network devices
• Improve network security by deploying, maintaining, and standardizing security policies and best practices
• Propose and develop network solutions focused on security, performance, and scalability
• Support network infrastructure outages: diagnose problems and resolve them effectively
• Participate in SOC-type projects for Support Online and for clients
• Join security audits from the network perspective
• Create and maintain area documentation in line with company policy
• Support teams and business projects within network infrastructure scope

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a network engineer or a related role
• Checkpoint Security Administrator CCSA certification (mandatory)
• Availability for 4 days/week on-site during implementation; later 3 days/week on-site and 2 days/week remote
• Experience configuring FortiGate routers (mandatory)
• Very good knowledge of LAN, WAN, and WiFi networking
• Experience configuring and maintaining network devices (FortiNet, Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, TP-Link)
• Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, IPsec
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network problems
• Knowledge of network security concepts
• Ability to document network infrastructure
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Good English (spoken and written) for reading technical documentation and contacting support
• Linux operating systems knowledge
