Description

You will lead strategically relevant SAP transformation projects within the enterprise group and shape the evolution of core systems at the interface of business, IT, and external partners. The role includes coordinating SAP migration and modernization initiatives—from initiation through successful go-live—while ensuring professional project governance and transparent reporting. You will also help design the SAP target architecture and drive the technological transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex SAP transformation projects from initiation to successful go-live
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams from business, IT, and external service providers
• Manage budget, timelines, quality, risks, and dependencies
• Prepare and run management and steering committee meetings
• Ensure professional project governance and transparent reporting
• Coordinate SAP migration and modernization programs
• Work with enterprise architects, product owners, and business units to implement the company strategy
• Lead and ensure quality of external consulting partners and system integrators
• Actively contribute to the SAP target architecture and the technology transformation

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable
• Solid experience in leading complex SAP projects/programs
• Strong knowledge of the SAP platform and modern SAP architectures
• Experience with SAP for Insurance and knowledge of insurance-specific solutions such as SAP FS-CD (or strong banking/financial services experience)
• Experience with transformation and migration projects
• Ideally: experience with SAP RISE, S/4HANA transformations, and cloud transformations with SAP BTP; relevant certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate
• Fluent German and English communication; strong consulting skills; confident presence with management and business stakeholders
