Description

You will ensure reliable operation of on-premises IT systems and maintain an existing server landscape. You will administer and improve the Windows and Linux server environment, manage Hyper-V virtualization, handle backups, and support the network infrastructure. The role also includes troubleshooting in 1st to 3rd level support and documenting infrastructure and changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop Windows and Linux server environments
• Administer Hyper-V environments
• Plan, monitor, and perform data backups
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
• Administer and monitor network infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve incidents in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support
• Document the IT infrastructure and completed changes

Requirements

• Completed IT training in a relevant field (e.g., Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or equivalent qualification
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory
• Experience with administration of Windows and Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian)
• Good knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization
• Knowledge of data backup with Veeam Backup & Replication
• Solid networking knowledge, especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
• Experience with software deployment
