Description

Lead Windows Personalization across Settings and connected operating-system experiences. Define a scalable product strategy and roadmap, then drive development from customer discovery through launch, measurement, and iteration using customer insights, telemetry, and A/B experimentation. Partner with engineering and design leaders to balance customer experience with system performance, reliability, and resource efficiency, while incorporating AI to support prototyping and insight generation.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Windows Personalization.

  • Lead product development from customer discovery through launch, measurement, and iteration.

  • Use customer research, telemetry, and A/B experimentation to evaluate hypotheses, prioritize opportunities, and measure outcomes.

  • Partner with engineering and design leaders to balance customer experience, system performance, reliability, resource efficiency, and delivery considerations.

  • Align cross-functional teams across a complex organization and influence decisions without direct authority.

  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.

  • Use AI tools to support prototyping, insight generation, and product development.

  • Champion inclusive design, accessibility, privacy, security, and customer trust throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent experience).

  • Ability to meet security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Benefits

  • Eligible for benefits and other compensation (role-dependent).

  • Target base pay range across the U.S.: USD $119,800–$234,700 per year (different ranges apply by location).
