Description

You will support environmental protection across the innogy group in the Czech Republic. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, implementing tasks within the environmental management system, leading smaller projects and trainings, and independently overseeing an assigned environmental area. You will also maintain environmental registers and evidence, prepare annual reports and other reporting (waste, air, water, IRZ), run internal audit controls, and propose solutions and process optimizations based on issue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation in assigned areas

• Perform tasks within the environmental management system

• Lead partial projects and conduct trainings

• Independently supervise the assigned environmental area and provide high-quality environmental services

• Maintain evidence/registers of air and water pollution sources

• Maintain evidence/registers of waste production and waste handling

• Prepare annual reports (waste, air, water, IRZ) and other reporting

• Perform internal audit checks of compliance with internal environmental regulations

• Maintain a register of legal regulations (environmental and related laws)

• Provide group-level reporting

• Analyze problems and propose steps to resolve them and/or optimize processes

Requirements

• University or secondary education in an environmental field

• At least 5 years of professional experience in environmental areas (e.g., environmental function in a company)

• Knowledge of environmental legislation and ability to apply it in practice

• Knowledge of MS Office

• Active driving license group B

• English B2: ability to understand technical and everyday written materials and actively communicate using professional terminology
