Description

The IT Compliance Specialist supports the execution of IT compliance activities by assisting with audits, contributing to remediation, participating in risk assessments, maintaining documentation, and improving the use of ITGRC tools. You will help ensure alignment with compliance requirements while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, and may support cross-regional initiatives and affiliates as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support audit activities: logistics and documentation, collecting and validating evidence, preparing visitor access requests, and assisting in verifying issues.

  • Follow up on remediation actions and track progress of identified issues.

  • Propose remediation recommendations based on audit/assessment findings.

  • Support management reporting with timelines, open issues, gaps, and risks.

  • Assist with ITGRC tool implementation and usage (data uploads, integrations, testing, and customization).

  • Participate in risk assessments: organize workshops, document risks, and follow up countermeasures.

  • Create and update IT compliance documentation (process documents, training materials, user guidelines, user stories).

  • Provide training and support to TME members on compliance requirements and standards.

  • Review new compliance requirements, conduct gap assessments, and map requirements to existing standards.

  • Support affiliates when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent IT experience

  • Familiarity with IT processes and general understanding of IT controls and governance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information securely

  • Good written and spoken English

  • Collaboration skills with auditors and internal stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
