Description

Join a campus IT team to develop the IT landscape and enable digital teaching. You will operate and administer IT infrastructure, provide IT solutions for digital learning and classroom technology, and support educators during ongoing operations. You will also contribute to projects and quality assurance through pilot support, vulnerability analysis, improvements, and documentation/standardization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve campus IT, implement strategic requirements, and continuously optimize IT and media technology
• Ensure secure, stable, and high-performing IT operations from installation and configuration through monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution
• Administer central systems and domains, manage access permissions, optimize system performance, data backup, and communication solutions
• Provide IT enablement for digital learning, support classroom technology and special software, and provide practical support to instructors
• Participate in pilot projects, analyze weaknesses, develop improvements, and maintain quality via documentation and standardization
• Work closely with teaching staff and internal interfaces; create practical materials and deliver onboarding, instruction, and training

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training (at least 3 years standard training) or other completed training (at least 3 years standard training) plus 3+ years proven professional IT experience
• Willingness to work at the Neuhausen auf den Fildern site
• German C1, English B2
• Strong teamwork, broad IT knowledge, and commitment to continuing education
• Improvisation and strong solution orientation
• Diversity competence
• Willingness for occasional planned business travel
• Willingness to perform service outside normal working hours when needed and remain reachable; support in command/coordination staff and wear service/deployment clothing as required
• Consent to a security screening (SÜG) with no safety-risk outcome for the security-sensitive activity
