Description

The Product Owner creates and maintains the product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals, working closely with stakeholders to shape product direction. You will manage and prioritize an actively maintained backlog, monitor delivery progress, and write complete user stories split into releasable elements. The role also includes tracking product metrics (e.g., TTM/ROI/revenue and KPI/OKR/NPS), conducting discovery, and making product decisions under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product vision and roadmap aligned to business objectives

• Build stakeholder relationships; manage expectations and influence product direction

• Monitor progress of work (including beyond just output values)

• Manage backlog with value-based prioritization

• Ensure backlog transparency and shared understanding across the team and stakeholders

• Write complete user stories and break requirements into releasable increments

• Collaborate stably with the Scrum team and follow the Product Owner process

• Track and design product metrics (e.g., TTM, ROI, revenue; KPI, OKR, NPS)

• Make product decisions under uncertainty and manage trade-offs (time/cost/scope/quality)

• Perform discovery activities (research, workshops, needs analysis)

• Lead change by working through resistance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner

• Delivery of at least 3 commercial products (at least one in insurance)

• Advanced Scrum and Product Owner knowledge

• Jira, Confluence, and Miro proficiency

• Strong backlog management and value-based prioritization

• Ability to write complete user stories and split work into releasable elements

• Experience with product metrics (TTM, ROI, revenue; KPI, OKR, NPS)

• Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent)

• Strong decision-making, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills

• Very good technical knowledge (systems, APIs, integrations, constraints) and ability to assess technological impact

• Discovery facilitation skills (research, workshops, needs analysis)

• Change management experience (handling resistance)

• English: at least B2

• Must be able to work/provide services in Poland (Warsaw hybrid: 3 onsite, 2 remote)
