• Role: Senior TypeScript Engineer (sole engineer on the application-protection codebase)

Description

Own the technical development of an application-protection product end-to-end, turning high-level product goals into researched, working features. Investigate browser runtime behavior and protection approaches, evaluating compatibility, performance, and trade-offs. Use AI-assisted development tools while independently checking generated code and validating behavior.

Responsibilities

• Drive development from product goals to implementation options and working features
• Build application-protection capabilities across JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and build environments
• Research browser runtime behavior and environment-access controls using developer-tools inspection
• Contribute to a React/Electron Dotfuscator UI when needed (initial months)
• Run short research spikes (typically 1–3 days) and present findings, risks, and recommendations
• Use Claude Code to accelerate implementation, while verifying results
• Communicate progress and blockers via Slack and maintain a reliable working schedule
• Support adjacent CI/CD, front-end, or C++ package work when required

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on TypeScript engineering experience with proven independent ownership
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript behavior, browser execution, and build tooling (e.g., Webpack/Vite)
• Product-engineering mindset for incomplete requirements and unknowns
• Clear technical communication and strong questioning skills
• Ability to review unfamiliar code, find defects/vulnerabilities, and verify AI-assisted implementations
• Availability for European overlap and scrum meetings; reliable asynchronous communication
• Upper-intermediate English
