Description

You will own the technical development of an application-protection product end-to-end, turning high-level goals into researched, working features. The role includes investigating browser runtime behavior and protection approaches, evaluating compatibility/performance trade-offs, and independently validating results when using AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute technical development from product goals to implementation options and working features.

• Develop application-protection capabilities across JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and build environments.

• Investigate browser runtime behavior and protection approaches (e.g., developer-tools inspection, environment-access controls) and assess trade-offs.

• Run short research spikes (typically 1–3 days) and present options, findings, risks, and recommendations to the lead architect/team.

• Use Claude Code to accelerate implementation while reviewing and validating generated code and behavior (do not treat AI output as verified).

• Communicate progress and blockers asynchronously via Slack and remain reachable during the agreed working schedule.

• Contribute to adjacent CI/CD, front-end, or C++ package work when needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on TypeScript engineering experience

• Demonstrated ability to independently own technical delivery as the sole engineer

• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript behavior, browser execution, and the build ecosystem (e.g., Webpack or Vite)

• Product-engineering mindset: progress from incomplete requirements by investigating unknowns

• Critical thinking, clear technical communication, and ability to ask useful follow-up questions

• Ability to review unfamiliar code, identify defects/vulnerabilities, explain trade-offs, and verify AI-assisted implementations

• Availability for European team overlap and agreed scrum meetings; reliable asynchronous communication

• Upper-intermediate English level
