Description

Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable software services as a Software Development Engineer II. You own components and features end-to-end—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operations—while helping raise the technical bar through high-quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable software systems and services
• Own delivery of medium-to-large features or components by turning ambiguous problems into well-defined tasks
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and clear technical documentation/design docs
• Contribute to design and code reviews to improve quality and consistency
• Operate what you build: monitor service health, respond to operational events, participate in on-call, and drive down operational load through automation and root-cause fixes
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partner teams to clarify requirements and manage cross-team dependencies
• Improve engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability, performance, security) and reduce technical debt
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive team culture

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications/tools/systems/services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent)
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• Base salary range: $143,700–$194,400 USD annually (final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location)
