Description

Join the EC2 Nitro team to build the foundation of cloud computing at unprecedented scale. You will help develop new EC2 machine learning platforms and collaborate with teams across hardware, firmware, systems, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive development for new EC2 machine learning platforms

• Work closely with technical teams spanning hardware, firmware, systems, and application software

• Tackle complex performance optimization problems at massive scale

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)

• 5+ years programming with at least one software programming language

• 5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)

• Experience mentoring, acting as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team

• Solid computer science fundamentals

• Expertise in C/C++ or Rust development in a Linux environment

• Experience with Linux package management

• Experience with version control systems

• Experience with automated build processes

• Experience with software unit testing
