Description

You will develop SPS/PLC software and new functions for turning and milling machines with FANUC or HEIDENHAIN controls, supporting the machine software lifecycle from specification to commissioning. The role also includes diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and maintaining the software of series machines. You will coordinate software interfaces with engineering, documentation, and service.

Responsibilities

• Develop SPS software and new features for turning and milling machines with FANUC or HEIDENHAIN controls

• Support development from software specification through programming to commissioning

• Assist with problem analysis and fault resolution

• Maintain and support series-machine software

• Coordinate interfaces with construction, documentation, and service

Requirements

• Relevant degree or several years of experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics

• Experience with CNC controls for machine tools, especially HMI, NC, or PLC

• Analytical and structured approach

• Team collaboration and confident cross-department communication

• Strong German and English communication skills (written and spoken)
