Description

You will develop and continuously improve demanding software solutions for machines and plants from concept through series readiness. The work includes designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software within an existing framework, plus creating and optimizing customer-specific software and operator interfaces. You will collaborate closely with mechanical development for simulation, testing, and validation, and support commissioning and technical support cases (including on-site when needed).

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously further develop software solutions for machines and plants (from concept to series readiness)

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software within the existing framework

• Work closely with mechanical development to simulate, trial, and validate software on machines

• Create, adapt, and optimize customer-specific software solutions and operator interfaces

• Support commissioning and technical support cases, potentially on-site

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification

• Strong software development knowledge, ideally with experience in IEC 61131-3 (Structured Text) and technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Java, and Vue.js

• Experience in programming and commissioning control and automation systems, with strong technical understanding

• Structured, independent, solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of teamwork in interdisciplinary teams

• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
