Description

Help define how AI runs on Windows at global scale by leading teams that turn machine learning models and silicon into fast, efficient, and trusted local experiences. Own people leadership, technical strategy, architecture, and execution across applied science, runtime, and MLIR to deliver developer tools and compiler/runtime capabilities. Translate an ambitious platform vision into durable Windows platform outcomes through cross-organization and silicon-partner collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stakeholder partnerships to anticipate and confirm customer/user requirements and feasibility across solutions.

• Lead complex system architecture ownership, test design options, and create architecture/design documentation.

• Provide technical and people leadership to meet performance, scalability, resiliency, disaster recovery, cost, security, privacy, and compliance expectations.

• Ensure high-quality engineering: extensible, maintainable, well-tested, secure, and performant code; define quality metrics and best practices.

• Drive project and release planning across teams, including resource management and security/privacy/compliance planning.

• Lead incident resolution, coordinate DRIs, review playbooks, and drive actions to restore service within SLA.

• Champion skill development through mentoring and technical learning sessions.
