Description

You will work with the DevOps team to maintain, manage, and further develop business software solutions running on OpenShift. The role also includes ensuring stable and reliable operation of the IT infrastructure (servers, storage systems, databases, and other supporting systems) and maintaining availability and performance through proactive monitoring and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and develop branch software solutions together with the DevOps team on OpenShift
• Ensure maintenance and reliable operation of the IT infrastructure (servers, storage systems, databases, and other systems)
• Guarantee system availability and performance via proactive monitoring and alerting; resolve incidents
• Work closely with other IT teams to efficiently solve technical problems
• Support planning, implementation, and ongoing care of IT projects

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in, IT-Systemelektroniker/in, IT-Systeminformatiker/in) or alternatively completed vocational training or degree with long-term relevant IT experience
• Very good knowledge of container technologies such as RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Ideally practical experience with tools such as Artifactory, MinIO, LiquiBase, Tekton, ArgoCD, Keycloak, or HashiCorp
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, systematic working approach
• High communication skills, drive/tenacity, and teamwork orientation
• German near-native proficiency and good English skills
