Description

You will be a key member of a small IT team, acting as the central point of contact for all IT topics. In addition to hands-on on-site and remote support, you will ensure operational security for a complex network and server environment, design IT concepts for new projects and locations, and analyze the existing setup to identify and propose improvements.

Responsibilities

• Customer support and user onboarding: support employees and coordinate external service providers when required

• IT operations security: proactively and solution-oriented responsibility for reliability of the network and server setup

• Hands-on support: independent troubleshooting on-site and remotely

• Holistic IT design: develop IT concepts for new projects, sites, and further development of existing systems (virtualization, backup, Microsoft products, network infrastructure)

• System analysis: audit current IT environment, identify optimization potential, and develop solution proposals

• Technology scouting: evaluate new technologies and bring future-ready, economically sensible solutions to the team

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a relevant technical degree

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in systems administration

• Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization/server infrastructure including storage, backup, and HCI clusters with Hyper-V and Veeam

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud (M365) and its products

• Practical experience with current Windows Server operating systems and networking components (e.g., Aruba, Securepoint, HPE ProCurve or comparable)

• Familiarity with OS Ticket and basic knowledge of CheckMK

• Certifications are a plus (submit proof if available)
