Description

Help modernize and operate a platform running on embedded Linux devices used across hundreds of installations in Central Europe. You will develop and maintain C/C++ software, build and release device images, automate Linux servers, and improve CI/CD and deployment. You’ll also implement monitoring and alerting and support international projects in the CEE region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C/C++ software running on embedded Linux devices
• Assemble, package, and release device images and platform software
• Manage and automate Linux servers
• Build and improve CI/CD and deployment tools
• Set up monitoring and alerts together with the operations/monitoring center
• Collaborate with development, production, and service teams
• Support new installations and troubleshoot issues on running systems
• Work on platform-related international projects in the CEE region

Requirements

• C or C++ experience on Linux
• Embedded Linux experience (cross-compilation, device services, I/O interfacing)
• Strong Linux production experience (Debian or Ubuntu)
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management experience
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Docker
• Scripting in PHP, JavaScript, or Bash
• Basic networking knowledge (VPN, TLS, firewalls)
• Czech or Slovak plus English
• Experience with device fleets, kiosks, POS, or industrial systems is a plus
