Description

You will join multiple teams to design new components, maintain and develop existing applications, and help deliver solutions to problems reported by users. The work includes collaborating with testing and software development teams, performing analysis and designing solutions, and preparing the relevant development documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design new software features and maintain existing applications

• Develop and expand existing applications

• Collaborate with the test team and the software development team

• Analyze and propose solutions for user-reported issues

• Produce the appropriate parts of development documentation

Requirements

• Technical secondary or university education (electrical engineering is a plus)

• Strong C++ programming skills

• Experience with modern C++ standards (C++11, C++14, C++17 and newer)

• Object-oriented programming experience is preferred

• Linux knowledge including basic administration, configuration, and services

• SQL knowledge and experience with MariaDB or PostgreSQL (or other databases)

• Version control experience with Git

• Knowledge of task management tools such as Redmine

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle

• Basic knowledge of team communication tools (MS Teams)

• Analytical thinking and ability to independently solve technical problems with an emphasis on code efficiency and quality

• Driver’s license class B

• Ability to read and write technical English

• Independence, thoroughness, reliability, and willingness to learn quickly
